■ My STORY
Hey my name is Stephen King and my stage name is MIK_Z_SAVAGE aka The Gypsy Gen. I first started rapping at 14 in an all white neighborhood which was definitely out of the ordinary. I felt a passion for it. So I continued to write raps and record on a shitty computer until 18 and was fine for college. Let’s just say I didn’t finish my undergraduate (so have an associates) but I joined the army instead. Fully, I did 12 years between the Reserves and Active Duty.
I volunteered for Iraq and deployed that July. When I got home June of 2017 I hopped in the Boston Fire hiring process. I ended up doing 4 years on the BFD before I got injured off of work. The Dr. told my family I probably wasn’t going to make it through the night; I was walking three days later. However, as I laid in the hospital bed my mind just was like might as well rap. So after stopping in 2006 I started rapping again in September 2021. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and this is what I am supposed to do. So thank you guys for supporting me as I make this leap of faith. May We all find our ways to our purpose in life
